It's been a while since my last update here — our team has been heads-down building improvements to the platform, and I'm excited to finally share what's been in the works.
Let's start with the big news: we're launching a free plan for groups with up to 15 members.
Built for Groups Just Getting Started
Whether you're a newly formed networking group looking to track referrals from day one, or a more informal network that's never had a dedicated tool, the free plan gives you a real way to get started — at no cost. By "informal groups," I mean collections of loosely affiliated small businesses that may not meet on a regular schedule or follow a structured agenda. A great example: wedding professionals.
My family owned a wedding venue for years. We worked closely with wedding planners, florists, and catering companies, and we sent referrals to each other constantly — mostly over email. We'd get together occasionally for a meal, but there was no formal meeting structure, no shared system for tracking who sent what to whom. With the free plan, groups like ours can now track referrals, revenues, and conversions in one place. Wedding vendor networks are just one example — I'm sure there are countless other affiliates and associations where a $50–$80/month subscription simply isn't the right fit.
Sub-Groups Are Now Free, Too
We've also heard from existing ChamberForge groups who wanted the ability to create separate sub-groups — for example, a leadership-only space within a larger group. With the free plan, any group can now create as many groups as they'd like at no additional cost.
A Few Things to Know
The free plan does come with some limitations: there's a 15-member cap, and certain premium features like advanced reporting are reserved for paid plans. We're genuinely excited to open ChamberForge up to more communities. Happy referral tracking!
